Are eTopps Cards Real?
Due to some extremely poor marketing by Topps, many collectors are under the assumption that eTopps was an instance of people paying money for thin air. While this was true of the .jpgs Topps sold on their mobile apps, there was no eTopps app.
So, surely the 2000 football test run was digital, and those cards don’t exist, right?
They do physically exist. Every single one of them.
The 2001 and 2002 baseball, basketball, football and hockey sets, tho?
Those all exist too. Every player.
The 2003 Lebron? 2005 Rodgers RC?
Exists. Exists.
But the reason Jay Cutler and AJ Hawk were worth big money was because nobody bought them, and if nobody bought them, they don’t exist.
You’d be wrong again. 254 and 183 were bought and printed, not 0.
Ok, you’re seeing by now where I’m going with this. 2007? Printed. 08, 09? Printed. 2010? Printed. 2011? Printed.
So which cards were purely digital?
None of them.
